In 2001, Ellen Sichel opened the first Svaroopa® Yoga studio in the Southeast. Her commitment was to bring this wonderful, transformative style of yoga to the Atlanta community. In a short period of time, this has happened.
As Ellen has continued her training, taking Advanced Svaroopa®
courses, she decided to close the studio and step out into the
community, teaching in various locations. This has given her the
ability to reach more students that will benefit from a Svaroopa® yoga
practice.
She will be teaching Continuing Yoga, a multi level class and is
adding a Gentle Yoga class, a Prenatal Yoga class, a Yoga For Your Back
series, and Deeper Yoga. She will also be giving monthly workshops
around Atlanta. Many students have special needs, and Ellen is giving a
lot of private sessions to help them get relief. She is also committed
to Embodyment® therapy, which is geared for all students, including
those wanting relief from chronic problems.
Svaroopa® yoga is transforming and the beauty is that though the
hands-on style of teaching, and the approachable nature of the style of
yoga, everyone is able to experience the benefits.

Master Yoga
Foundation Fire

teacher trainings burned to the ground in an electrical fire. Thankfully, no one was hurt. The
fire was however, a total property loss for Master Yoga Foundation - the nonprofit organization that is the source of Svaroopa® yoga education and experiences.
